Lukas Mayer and Ryder Ulmer began their collaborative efforts under the “Read the News“ guise as recently as 2020. Hello everyone, last year, as Christina and I made our first journey to Burning Man, excitement would be understated with plans to deliver an electrifying set at the iconic Robot Heart Bus after Lee Burridge. However, nature had other plans — unprecedented heavy rains and flooding at the event meant that, unfortunately, my performance could not go ahead. 

On my recent US tour, our ever-supportive friend, Benjamin from Robert Heart and the rest of the crew, extended a heartfelt invitation to play at their unique San Francisco-Oakland residency. 

This mix is not just a set; it's a token of appreciation to all who were there and an offering to those who couldn’t join us. 

Immerse yourself in a slice of the magic from that night. Whether you're listening from near or far, I hope it transports you right there with us.

This is a large portion of my 12 hour set at Stereo Montreal on September 28, 2024, my longest solo set ever. Missing are the first 2 hours, which I cut for better overall flow, as well as the last hour, which was not recorded as my recorder ran out of battery power.

To me, Stereo represents the absolute top of electronic music clubs worldwide. It is one of the few places that gives DJs the canvas to play long sets under near optimal conditions - an amazing sound system, great monitors, beautiful and subtle lighting and - last but not least - a knowledgeable, demanding and unified crowd.
