Launched originally in 1991 by John Acquaviva, Richie Hawtin and Karl Kowalski, Definitive represented the housier side of the electronic empire that Hawtin and Acquaviva started with Plus 8 Records in 1990, and after a brief hiatus, John Acquaviva re-launched Definitive in 2005 with Olivier as his main artist and A&R, seeking and presenting the latest emerging sounds and talent to the world via a reputable, consistent, and trustworthy platform.

With this impressive career achievements and a relentless work ethic for touring, Olivier is also known around the world for his exhilarating DJ performances that combine a heavy dose of groove inside an inspired blend of electronic flavors, demonstrating his talent behind the decks with an undoubtable versatility, adaptability, and headlining some of the world’s most iconic venues and events.

The Copenhagen-based trio WhoMadeWho have been tapped to curate the 26th installment of Watergate's mix series, following in the footsteps of fantastic artists like Ellen Allein, Kerri Chandler and Solomun.

The 19-track mix album, set to land on April 5 via the German imprint, features all new and exclusive material from the likes of dOP, Oona Dahl & Dance Spirit, Clarian and more. 

Ahead of the release, WhoMadeWho has handed over the track 'Arp8' by one of the group's fellow Copenhagen cohorts, Kenton Slash Demon.

WhoMadeWho's 'Watergate 26' mix drops on April 5 via Watergate Records.

The dramatic remix from Israel artist Sahar Z (Bedrock, Lost & Found, Anjunadeep) sums the release, where the main breakdown makes the whole effect.

After having appeared on Manual Music a couple of times already, and with a brand new release on Manual coming up in the near future, this time we welcome Formel to our MNL label for a lovely proggy melodic effort titled 'Cacoal'.

The Dutch duo have been around for quite some years now, and their music has seen the light of day via infamous labels such as Last Night On Earth, Replug, Beatfreak, Weiter, Sincopat, Einmusika and Traum.

We're happy to call them one of our own, as they've also joined our recently launched Manual Bookings agency. 'Cacoal' is just another piece of evidence of their capability to write warm, dreamy but highly effective melodic music.

On remix duties we welcome industry legend Paul Sawyer on the label for the very first time. The Krafted label boss has been a key player since the early nineties and we're delighted to have him on board, showcasing his effortless skills remixing the Formel guys. A delightful remix that will surely appeal to all the prog-heads out there.
