Olffmann is a french DJ/producer from Toulouse. He played already to Berlin, Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux or Saint Etienne and several festivals sharing the line-up with artists as Teenage Mutants [Stil Vor Talent], Loco & Jam [Suara], Dustin Zahn [Drumcode], Felix Kröcher [Form Music].

Moreover since few months, Olffmann becames resident to the Redgate, a techno club from Bordeaux.

Juicebox Music continues it’s 2019 saga with another debutant - Eric Lune. Based in Melbourne (Australia), Eric Quattropani’s story begun a few years back through his well known ambient & downtempo alias - Kindred, and now with his fairly new ‘Eric Lune’ project, he ventures into the progressive & dance floor oriented space. Since his first appearance in 2018, he’s released his work on Madloch’s “Sound Avenue” & “3rd Avenue”, Morttagua’s “Timeless Moment”, Paul Hazendonk’s “MNL” & Nikko Z’s “Dopamine” imprints, all receiving critical acclaim. 

Untethered by the formulaic approach of today’s ‘floor-friendly’ dance music, Eric’s first and foremost focus is, and has always been, about the sensibility of musicality. True to his ambient roots, the storytelling lies deep within the multitude of tonal & harmonic layers. His soundscaping abilities, paired with grooves & unpredictable arrangement heightens the aural experience to the next level. February 2019 marks two years of ATLANT and our most important release so far as we combine the musical talents of Nimes (FR) born Darlyn Vlys with Sydney (AUS) vocalist Haptic, alongside stunning re-imaginings by electronic visionaries Mind Against, Tim Engelhardt and Peter Pardeike.

‘Horse’ first appeared on radars when Ame b2b Dixon premiered this emotional vocal to close their Innervisions hosted Royal Albert Hall 2018 event. With the rumour mill gathering pace it was a challenge to keep things under wraps, especially because we wanted to create an ATLANT package truly worthy of this special track.

The Original’s strummed bass-line and organic percussion immediately catch your attention, with everything stripped back to lay bare Haptic’s raw emotional shoegaze tone. A lesson in restraint, Darlyn Vlys’s subtle use of studio effects and sumptuous synth layers add warmth as Haptic asks us to pause, before leading the way to a string drenched chorus to ‘just give in’. Now the track develops, with the lyrics becoming ingrained in our memory. As the bass and beats exit, this time with a greater sense of urgency, Vlys leaves you wanting more.

Italian-born, Berlin-based duo Mind Against need limited introduction to anyone familiar with their music for Afterlife or Life And Death. These guys rarely provide remixes ... when they do, the output is always something special as witnessed on their recent Celestial Dub of SCB’s ‘Test Tubes’. We are privileged to welcome them to the ATLANT family.

Alessandro and Federico have delivered a true masterpiece with a deep dark groove gently underpinned by echoed crashes and atmospheric arps, as the vocal enters. A masterclass in drama, Mind Against accentuate every breath and lyric before a subtle deep bass drop increases the tension, letting ‘Horse’ run wild into a swirling arpeggiated crescendo that temporarily disorientates the listener, however Haptic’s vocal is always there to lead you home.

It is a complete pleasure to have BOg’s long time collaborator and good friend in the supremely talented Tim Engelhardt onboard. Tim’s Horse update subtly emphasises all of the key elements of the original, while increasing the dramatic orchestration, making the bass pulse and enveloping the lyrics in swathes of cinematic melodies as a sustained synth buzz and beautiful piano lines add incredible emotion. There is a purity and real beauty here.

The EP closes courtesy of the Peter Pardeike [Connaisseur | Innervisions] who builds on core events of the original to create a rich sonic tapestry perfect suited for unforgettable club moments. Peter’s teasing use of the vocal and extended breakdown raise a heightened sense of anticipation before whirring synths simmer and explode, with new melodies creating a sense of euphoria. Absolute perfection.

Inspired by a variety of artistic influences, the music of Darlyn Vlys offers distinctive atmospheres that go beyond sound. Managing to capture both nostalgic and futuristic essences, his experimental and stylistic approach creates electronic music that grabs your attention through sharp elements and cinematic moods.

Haptic (Mark Forester) wants only to create the most emotionally powerful music that he can. After studying guitar and piano as a boy, he moved into the world of synthesis beginning the journey with his first additive synthesiser, the K5000W.

Since then he has mixed sound for film, television, and theatre, and collaborated with artists all over the globe, releasing on labels such as Still Vor Talent, Suara, Microcastle, and Sincopat, all while developing his own sounds and technologies, and running his record label, Surveillance Party out of home base Sydney.

Montreal-based artist Kora (@kora-musique) takes to his own Saisons (@saisonsmusique) imprint to unveil a collaboration with Wuachuma (@wuachuma) and Keli Amarai titled 'Caroussel'. The track showcases a deep and ethereal house sound that's been synonymous with the Canadian talent. The rolling sythn-laden gem follows on from Kora and Wuachuma's inaugural collaboration 'Nuit d'Afrique', and their much lauded Tale & Tone outing 'Naavi'. Now with the additional musical talents of Keli Amarai, the emotive ballad is given delicate and organic touch making it primed for late night excursions on the dancefloor.

‘Anomaly’ is this year’s full-length release by Steyoyoke, presenting familiar roster artists as well as industry newcomers. A close collaboration between some of the most talented producers on the label. Anomaly will be split in two parts with two separate releases. Part one features the label’s lighter, ethereal signature sound and Part two will showcase the darker, more traditional techno. 

Kicking off Anomaly (Part 1) are Soul Button & Modeplex with their track, ‘Ardor’. It has a strong beginning that builds steadily to a wide, misty soundscape, feeling both peaceful and motivating. 

It then pulls back to a more minimal, rhythm-driven ending that sets the tone for the next track, ‘Dome’ by Ceas. Here Ceas uses a melody to take the listener into a suspended space, caught between tension and release. The track develops with subtle changes in bass and percussion, whilst tying each section together with a consistent theme.

The third track, ‘Catharsis’ by Clawz SG & Soul Button, introduces layers of smoother tones, echoing to give a sense of mystery and wonder. There is a softness to this track combines with hints of darkness to make a compelling number. 

Clawz SG continues with ‘Esperanza’, making a statement with a beginning focused on unusual, earthy percussion. Hypnotic synths build steadily before the track erupts into a powerful, stadium-worthy finale. 

The final appearance of Clawz SG on the album is ‘Lost Signal’, co-written by Ceas. Layers of syncopation set this track apart as a stand-out with its distinct energy and rhythm, while a delicate transitional section places this in the space between ethereal and traditional techno.

The beaked being returns with the third in the series of Fantast remix EPs, once again offering a collection of dancefloor-focussed reworks from some of his current favourite producers.

The third chapter features reinterpretations from former Trouw resident Patrice Bäumel and Off Recordings mainstay Simion.

Claptone is a unique proposition in modern music. Did I find myself on that journey? Rather not. But I found some beautiful moments in the green, out in the woods, out in the fields, under the moon and in the night, moments, which I want to share with you. 'We kick 2019 off presenting a local talent from Juarez, Mexico. Josta is well-known to the Electronic Music fan-base, being the Edge City Radio Show's host and one of the current Hardpop's resident DJs. He delivers his first solo EP entitled 'A View From Afar'.

'A View From Afar' original mix is humored by a deep beat surrounded by melodic arpeggios in harmony with tasteful synths. 

Ukraine's musician and producer Lessovsky delivers an inspiring remixed version of 'A View From Afar' giving a melancholic twist to the track, flavored by deeper synths and dusky sounds combined with unnerving vocals.

Christian Bonori made his Yoshitoshi debut back in 2016 with 'Unruliness,' a record that, true to its name, was a devastating force in the club and one of Sharam's secret weapons.  While that record was a techno powerhouse, the Italian producer returns to Yoshitoshi with the State of Mind EP, a change of course for him that features two deeper cuts and a terrific remix from Frenchman Citizen Kain.

The title track is dark and dubby with plenty of twists and turns, making it a fine, modern house track.   Don't let the deep vibe of 'State of Mind' fool you - it's a real builder that can create some epic moments on the floor.  Citizen Kain joins the Yoshitoshi family with a heavy remix of the tune, turning the track into a peak time club demon with a techno meets nu-disco flavor.  'Berlin Atmosphere' is more straight-up deep house, with floating chord stabs and a laid back, shuffling groove that hearkens back to the deep, early Yoshitoshi sound.  The EP is another fine showing from the label and a great addition to the catalogue, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Christian Bonori - State of Mind (Citizen Kain Remix) (Preview)

After a stunning 2019 start with 'Senja in Bali' by Chus & Ceballos, it's time for the second Stereo Productions release signed by Cassimm. The Italian artist has settled in London, where he is a resident of the prestigious club Aquarium and is very well known in the electronic music industry for his exceptional ability to create musical journeys both as DJ and as a producer. "Dances With Wolves" is the best proof of it. This single, which will be released on the 1st of February, has an original mix in which Cassimm develops an infectious rhythm with groovy and electronic sequences delivering a hypnotic track.
