To start the new year with a big bang, we proudly present a very special track for our 11th journey on Future Romance!

None other than Einmusik and Solee, two of the most authentic and experienced artists both with impressive careers as producer, live act, dj and label owner in the worldwide melodic house & techno scene join their forces. In german summer 2022 the two met again during a performance in Berlin and went afterwards in Einmusik´s studio. After a little jam session the idea for a cooperation was born and only a few days later "Mariposa" arose. In the meantime the track has been road-tested at many shows from both artists and is now ready to release.

As expected "Mariposa" brings us pure festival feelings, magical melodies in combination with a deep bassline, driving elements and a good portion of bliss! Enjoy!

Renaissance kick-start 2023 with a fresh, new look alongside a returning favourite…

Coming out of the blocks faster than Usain Bolt in his prime, Renaissance begin 2023 with one of their favourite sons - the very talented Sasha Carassi, who presents two AA-side bombs to blow away the winter blues.

Lead track ‘Fotosintetica’ features the vocals of Davide Famularo and finds Sasha exploring new musical pastures, as he confesses, “This is a more visceral, deeper me. The objective remains the same, to take the listener on the emotional journey, but the style is definitely evolving and pushing boundaries.”

The evolution box would not have been so easily ticked were it not for one of his favourite vocalist collaborators - Davide Famularo. “Davide is very creative,” Sasha generously admits, “whilst writing he has this unique process, which is ‘strange’ in the very best sense of the word; he’s a pleasure to collaborate with and his warm voice always adds that extra, magic touch.”

The AA-side welcomes a very different track that swaps 4/4 for a contemporary take on the continued (re)emergence of all things breaks. “‘Ametista’ is quite muscular for an electronica track,” says Carassi, “but this is because it’s inspired by the power of people; their dreams, strength and authenticity, so it probably comes as no surprise to learn it was produced in the middle of the pandemic when everyone was forced to dig deep. It’s a song of hope in many ways.”

Over a year since the drop of their second long-player on the label, "Lost Spirits", German outfit Hidden Empire reemerges on Stil vor Talent with "Who We Are", the first single taken from their third album, "Momentum", to be released in early 2023. Riddled with stadium-sized emotional bursts and their genotypic peak-time readiness, Novakovic and Schäfers' latest keeps on pushing in that zenithal direction their previous efforts continuously hinted at, fusing textbook cinematic poignancy with that of the most fiery DJ-friendly tools through ambitious sound tableaux that promise to provide the raver in you with compelling amounts of poetic spaciousness and tight-wound dancy dynamics. 

The first track and lead-single featuring Felix Raphael on vocals, "Who We Are", is a pop-influenced chugger that perhaps best defines Hidden Empire's ambivalent style, both hi-NRG and innervated with a melancholy that infuses down to the bass and most functional elements. Geared up for big-room traction with its seesawing synths and clinical drumwork, Raphael's moving timbre does more than offer a sensible counterpoint to the track's overall sturdy backbone, it takes it to a whole other dimension completely. Then there's "Momentum", a more openly jagged and quirky weapon that hatches into a further solar number around the half, like a flower slowly but surely finding its way to the sunlight. Roaring up the club's highway at full throttle, it proves a formidable asset when it comes to plunging dancers into a state of weird, left-of-centre euphoria.

ASHER SWISSA is a side project of Skazi and a master of melodic techno and progressive house. He has had previous collaborations with the likes of Miss Monique, Korolova, Space Motion & Matan Caspi, and works here with Alar, a producer, DJ and Music Healer associated with labels like Get Physical.

The original here is a tough and moody cut with deep, heavyweight bass under slick drums. The vocals bring a spine tingling sense of soul as sharp snares and cosmic synths unfold for real dance floor drama. I Don't Want (Alexey Union Remix) is even more out there in the stars with its big and emotional synth waves and spraying leads bringing extra tension. I Don't Want (Rafael Cerato Remix) then closes out with a slick tech beat and dreamy pads that are complimented by a busy lead which brings some twisted tension.

PREMIERE: Magdalena - Back To The Beat (Original Mix) [Warung]

Hailing from Ukraine, SHMN is a master at melding the gamut of styles and sonics across the spectrum of electronic music. Previously released on the likes of Lost on You, Beatfreak Recordings, and Click Records, he has built for himself an eclectic discography which delves into a variety of sub-genres within the electronic music. Now he steps up for an early standout EP on Poesie Musik with two tracks of powerful melodic techno.

Dogma is first and is edgy and arresting stuff with tense synth lines hanging in the air above the dark drums. There is a late night and dystopian feel to this one that locks you in and keeps you in suspense. Tenet is another blistering cut with cinematic design. The drums roll deep and frosty pads unravel up top as menacing pads bring a broody feel.

This is a superb EP from this top talent.
