Baime make their debut on Blindfold Recordings label with four killer cuts that have all been tried and tested over the last year and performed live at Roskilde Festival 2018 in front of 3000 people. 

Metius opens things up with some blistering techno that is dramatic and absorbing. Big claps and rising lead synths bring shadowy vibes while rooted drums get you in the groove. Thebit has epic late night pads lighting up the skies with a progressive feel, and Arzachel is another multi-layered cut with rumbling bass and edgy pads keeping you in suspense. Last of all, Cohete has scintillating keys and a sparse, wide open techno groove that is cinematic and hugely atmospheric.

Sascha Funke takes control of the first remix, in this case it is 'Lazer In The Jungle' which begins with a heart beat, sounds and percussion accompany, charming minimalism until you start the journey through a conversation of synthesizers marked by arrangements that bounce from one side to another, a celestial pad appears, the textures are acidified giving way to the bass that ends up to get us into the trip. Suddenly, everything disappears, empty, air, the percussions return, the groove begins, the hook of the original theme appears for the first time so that your whole body ends up dancing until the end.

Rafael Cerato makes a long over due debut on Beatfreak Recordings with 'Home'. Having appeared on Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, Systematic, Suara and his own Ritual imprint, the French artist has remained one of the melodic house scenes most tried and tested artists. With a career that now spans the better part of a decade, the Aix-en-Provence resident debuts on Beatfreak with a new EP alongside a remix from Chus & Ceballos.

The lone interpretation on the release is provided by Chus & Ceballos who re-imagine the lead piece 'Home'. Based in Madrid, the Spanish duo and Stereo Productions owners boast a career that spans well over two decades. Having built the hugely popular Iberican sound in the early 2000's to touring the world and showcasing their music on Get Physical, Saved Music, Knee Deep or Nervous Records.

Chus & Ceballos have more than etched their place in electronic music history. Now returning to Beatfreak for the first time in seven years the duo cap the release off with a classy rendition of 'Home'. Exotic drums and a driving groove sound immediately enticing, building a momentous foundation for Eleonora's vocals to descend upon. Perfectly intertwined with the lead synth, it's the minor details which really make this so special. Percussive trails and clustered claps add dynamic moments across the first act, perfectly setting up cavernous break and mammoth drop. A huge interpretation from Chus & Ceballos which rounds out a massive Beatfreak debut for Rafael Cerato. Highly recommended.

Each edition of the Four To The Floor series, now in its 16th installment, always presents four tracks that are some of the strongest secret weapons from the sets of Solomun.
Opening up the record is Maceo Plex’s “Mutant Magic”, which gets the engine going with deeply pounding percussions and otherworldly synth dabs and vocals.
Up next the sinister sounding “Plastic Head TV” by Fairmont, a driving and dystopian melodic techno track.
Track number three is “Louisville Lip (Abaze Edit)” by Nico Garreaud, a Tech-House anthem with rapid drum patterns and energizing arpeggiators.
And lastly is dreamy Melodic House tune called “Princept” by The Vinyl Depreciation Society, a very versatile piece that experiments with an insane amount of sounds over its main structure and with that, rounds off this 16th edition of Four To The Floor.

Petar Dundov & Marc Romboy - Ex Machina EP

'A rare moment of beauty saw Rudy UK release "All Things Fade" to critical acclaim in March 2019. With one set of remixes already riding high, a second now sees Australian and UK talents continue the story.

With exquisite attention to detail, a unique approach to his craft and creativity in abundance, Jamie Stevens has been a central figure in the underground dance scene for over two decades. Able to call upon a wealth of experience from his ground-breaking Infusion moniker and solo career, the two-time ARIA award winner has carved out a crevasse-sized niche for himself with his live performances and incomparable production work. Performances at the renowned Fabric in London and Womb in Tokyo have been added to a long list of gigs in New York, Moscow, Singapore and across his native Australia. Production work has seen Stevens light up the catalogues of John Digweed's Bedrock, Guy J's Lost & Found and Cid Inc.'s Replug, to name but a few. Now making his Proton Music debut, the aptly titled, "Jamie Stevens Golden Return Remix" takes "All Things Fade" in a scintillating club-oriented direction, heralded in the opening stages with its intricately patterned percussive groove and syncopated synth stabs. Progressing effortlessly, a warm glissando bassline slides across the lower frequencies while the sumptuous piano refrains from Rudy's original appear seamlessly at the breakdown and into the second half. The result is a wonderful new interpretation that perfectly illustrates Stevens' exalted status as an iconic name within the underground dance fraternity.

Austrian based, Dan Orsen, is an artist of considerable repute. As renowned producer and A&R head of Cid Inc.'s Replug imprint, the UK born producer has found himself at the vanguard of modern underground house and techno. A growing but highly prestigious release portfolio has seen Orsen release a variety of original and remix production material on the likes of Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat and a wealth of material on Replug. A regular on Particles and Proton Music, June 2015 saw the three-track "Elysium" EP make its mark on the former, while a quartet of remixes for the likes of Roger Martinez, GMJ and Matter have made a distinct impression on the latter. Adding to his portfolio, a fifth now sees Orsen rework "Real You" to mesmerising effect. Using the components from Rudy's original to superb effect, Orsen has created a striking club-friendly remix that utilises a dynamic rhythmic groove and heavy beat. A filtered arpeggio adds to the dance vibe before gated pads provide a moment of textured intrigue at the mid-point. Building once more through the arpeggiated phrase, the track blossoms post-breakdown into a richly layered affair that showcases a wealth of additional production work from the Orsen studio.

With vivid new remixes from Jamie Stevens and Orsen, Rudy's success with "All Things Fade" shows no sign of waning.'
