Tim Engelhardt - Sawtooth Orchestra

Lunar Eclipse intros with crispy sharp hats and claps which form a nice rhythm alongside a pumping kick drum and cool chord stabs. A swelling pad fades in, creating a dreamy atmosphere, setting the tone for a ride deep into progressive. The bassline bursts into the groove with its deep sub level punch and gritty edge. Captivating voices blend effortlessly into the sound and after a short break we're treated to some Eastern flavour once again as beautifully plucked strings add melody before the deep bass and hypnotic chords return. Top notch stuff that is not to be missed.

“Jiggler’s“ sound can be best described as energetic and groove-focused. He demonstrates this as part of the artist duo “Channel X“ with releases on Stil vor Talent as well as remixes for Teenage Mutants, Kruse and Nuernberg or Kellerkind. In both of these productions, “Jiggler“ skillfully blends techno and deep house elements. “Wideness“ presents itself directly with a powerful mix of kicks, effects and pumping baseline. “Shine“ builds up consistently with melodic elements and chords. The breaks set clear accents in combination with the synth parts, thought through and focused on the dancefloor. A peaktime package worth celebrating - bravo!

We can't be happier with this fantastic release on Beatfreak. Addiktive Cikle EP by the pioneer Betoko & Haze-M consists of 2 great original tracks and 2 great interpretations by Nick Muir and Morttagua. Betoko and Haze-M show us an incredible collaboration where “Addiktive Cikle” is a killer mix with an addictive and modern beat, with housy and acid niche, where the progy melody comes and evolves and then appears a new fascinating element that comes after the drop as an unfinished story.

“Homesick” is a melancholic melody on top of progressive bass that lead to unexpected break.

On the another hand is the interpretation of “Addiktive Cikle” provided by Nick Muir making his debut on Beatfreak. Taking the essential elements from the original and putting his own touch, Nick Muir delivered for us super dancy remix version.

Concluding the release with “Homesick”, remixed by the Brazilian Melodic House & Techno top DJ and producer Morttagua. His finest touches turned out the track in darky and progy gem.
