"Mustache Italo Disco Orgy"

Born in Crete, warped to London for 6 years and gave it up in 2006 for Athens. Can’t live without moustaches, vintage clothes, high heels and italo Disco!
Her crowd loyally follows her and comprises of fanatic extras from episodes of Dynasty, Joan Collins hairdressers, enchanted dancers permanently vogueing.
Boring bio: Picked up the phone one day called a local radio station and demanded to go on air, all at the tender age of 14. She was soon given her very own grrrrl rock show for two years along with her best friend. After a long break from broadcasting she next picked up her records while studying in London in 2000, at the student bar of her halls of residence. This gave her the chance to test different styles and genres and to learn how to beat match the hard way on some busted up turntables and cd decks.
Three years later the parties started! With a brief stint as resident dj at the underground DISCOnection after parties in London’s East End, other apearrances include, a guest appearance at Moon alongside Wandson Maxx and guerilla djing at the Redlight after party.
It’s now October 2006 in Athens and it seemed that by chance her path crosses that of the Amateur boyz. And so began a residency with the boyz at a russian disco in Athens from December 2006 till June 2007 and with an urban mobile party for the winter of 2007-08. Another residency emerged right after the last party of the first season in one of Athens largest mainstream clubs Motel with their D.I.R.T.Y. parties and since then various other locations, parties, events including Yes it Does!Sure it Does!, Earthdance festival Athens, kormoranos, Wrapped in Plastic and many more.
Mid 2010 she is joined by d:tek and Tareq, in forming a new dj team, Sally Spektra and accompanying “fashion” blog on Sallyspektra.com
After more than 14 years a return to radio production has finally come up with the creation of new Greek web radio station WaveRadio.gr and her show “Dancing Madly Backwards” which fuses italo disco, 80s pop, new wave and more “modern” sounds alongside guest dj sets.

Her newest project is called <a href="http://soundcloud.com/fascination_music">fascination!</a> with fellow dj/producer ELIOT!

GIGgle Pics has evolved massively since it first began as merely a gig photography page (hence the name). Now we write live gig reviews more than ever. 

We are lucky enough to now have a team of EP/Track reviewers all within the industry/local scene for all genres.

We run a radio distribution list for bands/artists to get airplay on 8 stations currently. We also have a weekly radio show The GIGgle Pics Monday Mixup on www.federalradio.co.uk - Monday's 8 pm - 10 pm playing 26 local Kent/SE UK original bands of mixed genres.

We run a blog which is now more popular than this Facebook page and hosts interviews with bands, tracks, gig reviews, track reviews, equipment reviews and other music related articles.
