This song was born from struggle — I reached a point in my life where I realized there were things that happened in my childhood that programmed me to have certain destructive patterns. This came out especially in work, school, and relationships. Faced with seeing myself more objectively, I knew I needed to make changes. For me, that meant showing up for myself and learning to nurture the wounds of early trauma.

This song came from that feeling you get when your life changes in an instant and you're suddenly waking up alone, living with the ghost of 'how things used to be' while attempting to move forward and rebuild despite feeling like you've lost your sense of self.
