The Continental Breakfast used to be known as "Devine Sundays" at Zone. Addy would play at 6AM serving his signature 3-turnatable mix with sexy and rough tribal and tech. Deko-ze would follow delivering his blend of rumbling tribal, fist clenching techno, uplifting progressive, butt shaking house and smatterings of vocals and loops throughout.

Its been 4 years since they played together at Zone and Dec 19th marked the grand re-union. It was an epic morning and one of the busiest to date!! This mix is Part 1 of their killer set bringing classics, old school jams and fresh faves.. Just Like The Old Days!

This was my first time playing at the new CZ location, a lot of friends came out for the 8-10am settime.   while most of you were probably sleeping on a sunday morning, many were stomping at the CZ.... ha!
now... being that it was a 8am settime at an infamous afterhours, and playing after my homegirl Barroness who slays it hard every time, i must admit i was a little anxious about playing this.  I had to play hard and heavy to keep them dancing at those hours... it was certainly a set "outside of my comfort zone at comfort zone" (credit to Tanya the pun queen)...

big thanks to the entire Wiggly family that came out and stayed till the lights were turned on... thank you for showing this guy so much love

your listening to a live recorded set from CODA night club, one of Toronto's premium dance and techno venues.  Recorded on  Saturday Jan 16 2016 for the Concept launch event hosted by FLOH Entertainment.  Big thank you to the entire Coda and FLOH team for putting together such an amazing night.  Thanks to Alec Luna for the awesome photos of the night.

Now a little about this set: so Coda is known for being an awesome techno club, and my set time was a 1:30-3am headliner slot, so I felt like I had to bring it, and bring it hard I did.  With that in mind, this set probably a harder set then you'r used to hearing from me, yet it is stuff that I love to play and the the club banging to.

Also a big thank you to all my fans and friends who came out for this event, it was so great to see so many familiar faces at this venue.

** NOTE - Make sure to listen til the end.  There were 4 encores so there is a little dead space where the crowd was cheering and the club let me put on another... and another.... and I kinda slipped 2 more in...

It was an honour to play the closing set at the College & Spadina location. This set was really meaningful.  All of the tracks have a history to them in and out of Zone.

I had a spiritual awakening seeing Dubtribe Sound System perform live at WEMF in 1997.

I was on the verge of slipping into a K-hole at the Orange After-hours in London UK and suddenly a full on baseline that sounded disgusting ripped through the sound system ... and then came the uplifting vocal... "Just A Little More Love"... and it was played by one of my favourite production duos at the time, The Sharp Boys.

The next day, I was shopping at Eastern Bloc Records, UK.  A dude brought in 50 copies of white label record.  The clerk put it on the sound system and literally EVERY house dj in the shop ran to scoop up a copy. "Lola's Theme" got an official release several months later but I could not wait to play the advance copy I was lucky to grab.

In Mexico, DJ JB played a track that seemed to completely steal Deadmau5's "Brazil (2nd edit)" .... and threw a pop vocal on top.  SACRILEGE!!  But I was willing to give it a listen.. It wasn't bad but I was scared the chorus would ruin it. .... it played.. I loved it... the moment I got back to Canada, I tracked down a copy of "Happiness" and made it an anthem for the gay and str8 crowds!  

I was in a completely daze when I heard Michael Jackson had died.  I grew up with his music.

I had a list of 247 tracks to play that day... so I just went with the flow and energy of the crowd.  You guys helped me decide which tracks to play.  I must admit, there were a several moments I got kinda emotional.... and for that, I Thank You.

My debut set at the new Comfort Zone on Queen street. This one was special not only as it was my first time spinning at the new venue, but because it was Chinese New Year as well.

In 2006 JerΩ discovered the world of electronic music and especially the Tech-House & Techno music through a friend who will quickly give him the desire to set foot on mythical and festive places in France such as Inox Club Toulouse , the 4 Sans, the BT59 and the after Oloops in Bordeaux but also to knowledge and meet some influential people in the Techno scene in Bordeaux and Toulouse ...
 
After two years scouring party , private party , afters and other festivals with his friends ( Monegros , Electromind , Inox Festival ... ) that he finally decided to invest in "professional" equipment  and began to play more seriously and regularly reinforced by his past or he had to the younger and for some years a chance to practice music theory and piano.
 
Mainly influenced by artists like Marco Carola , Paco Osuna , Barem and many others ... JerΩ " distilled " a Tech-House as well as filled with powerful groove ... these sets are completely improvised on the spur and the mindset of the time .
 
End of 2011, with the help of his friends, he creates his association around electronic music ranging from Deep House to Techno through Tech House to promote this little known musical style in this region. 
 
End of 2013, JerΩ makes his debut as a producer and began producing his own tracks.

En 2006 JerΩ découvre l'univers de la musique électronique et plus particulièrement la Tech-House & Techno grâce à un ami qui va très vite lui donner l’envie de fouler le sol de lieux mythiques et festifs tel que l'Inox Club à Toulouse, le 4 Sans, le BT59 et l’after Oloops à Bordeaux mais aussi de faire connaissances et de rencontrer certaines personnes influentes de la scène Techno Bordelaise …   

Après deux années à écumer les soirées, private party, afters et autres festivals avec ses amis (Monegros, Electromind , Inox Festival …) il ce décide enfin à investir dans du matériel « professionnel » et se met à jouer plus sérieusement et plus régulièrement conforté par son passé ou il à eût la chance plus jeune et durant quelques années de pratiquer le solfège et le piano.

Principalement influencé par des artistes comme Marco Carola, Paco Osuna & Barem ... JerΩ "distille" une Tech-House aussi bien percutante que remplie de groove ... ces sets sont totalement improvisés selon l'inspiration et l'état d'esprit du moment.

Fin 2011, avec l'aide de son ami Gob’Itch, il crée son association ayant pour but de promouvoir l'accessibilité à la musique électronique

Depuis fin 2011 JerΩ et son compère vous proposent leur concept de « private party » et autres soirées en clubs via leur association ATF / ALL-TECH FAMILY rassemblant en moyenne 150 à 200 personnes à chaque évènements dans la région Sarladaise (24).  
Un franc succès vu la ruralité de la région et la jeunesse de l'association
