Sincopat initially comes up as an adventure of the Valencian composer and producer Marc Martínez Nadal, also known as AFFKT, for outputting other related new artist´s sounds and personal projects. The name Sincopat, syncopated in Valencia's language, represents its own essence, its land’s, and the music’s, which actually serves as a starting point for the label.
Sincopat believes in a new generation of artists unafraid to experiment with eclectic sounds. We make music for listening and dancing, out of hypes and moods.
After fourteen years and more than two hundred releases, the label is worldwide benchmark of avant-garde electronic music.

Los hombres de la máscara de electro...

Puede que te los hayas encontrado cualquier fin de semana por las salas de la región. Dos enigmáticos enmascarados moviendo el cuello al ritmo de los sonidos más electrizantes y potentes, moldeando ritmo a diestro, pero sobre todo a siniestro. No son personajes diseñados por Stan Lee, ni tampoco se trata de dos sujetos extraviados de un psiquiátrico. son Jesús Marchena y Andrés Zamora, dos amigos que comparten la pasión por la música electrónica.
Y es que a estos dos jóvenes murcianos no se les caen las máscaras a la hora de pisar un escenario para exprimir sus respectivos alter egos al máximo nivel. Buena prueba de ello es el historial que los avala. En poco menos de dos años de formación, ambos han llegado a compartir sala con artistas internacionales de la talla de Borgore, Feed Me, Sonicblast, Son of Kick, Dubsidia, entre otros, además de contribuir activamente en varios colectivos como “Mellow” o “Sinister” 
Pero no solo de directos vive la máscara. Su estilo musical está abierto a una amplia cantidad de registros, desde los vibrantes bajos que caracterizan su popular “OKEY” hasta las pinceladas más elegantes y bañadas del estilo UK como el EP “Nudity”.
Y la máscara seguirá iluminada durante mucho tiempo…

Biography:

Ruiz Sierra had an extensive 2016 - 17 international touring schedule, playing at clubs and underground techno gatherings in the UK, Costa Rica, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Malta and France. Where he played with Stefano Noferini, Marco Bailey, Industrialyzer, Tom Hades, Alex Di Stefano, Andre Winter and many more.

As a DJ, he plays a new style of tech-house with atmospheric sounds that combines together energetic Techno with elements of House.
As a recognised producer - and label founder - he has released tracks on Deeperfect, IAMT, Pornographic Recordings, Audio Elite, Black Swan, Phunk Traxx and has been listed on the Beatport Top100 charts several times since he started off.

In 2013 he established Egothermia Records with a vision of releasing quality with Alberto Ruiz, Dani Sbert, Kohra, Peppelino, Subjects and many others.. He stands out with excellent support from Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Luciano, Sam Paganini, Maceo Plex, Cristian Valera, Stefano Noferini, Paco Osuna, Spartaque, Groovebox, D-Unity, Anthony Pappa, MiniCoolBoyz, Alex Mine, Matt Minimal, Gaga, NHB, Macromism and a community of recognized artists.

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, multi-disciplinary artist, music label founder and former scientist who has carved out a unique space in music and visual art.

He holds a PhD in computational biology at the same time as being the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens and one of the first clutch of musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.

Cooper has enquired for over 15 years through music, collaborations, and his label Mesh, to explore the intersections between the arts and sciences with installations, performances, immersive experiences, online media, music videos and live events.  Anchored throughout is his emotive approach, connecting how ideas and forms feel, in a manner accessible to us all. 
 
As an artist synonymous with the evolution of club culture, Cooper honed his craft as a DJ with a 10 year residency at legendary Midlands techno event Firefly where he formed a foundational relationship with Architecture Social Club, with whom he still collaborates on extravagant immersive installations.

"I want to encourage the acceptance of electronic music as an art form like any other. Bringing electronic music and abstract audio-visual projects into concert halls, museums and galleries is liberating - the art world opens up doors to communicate in ways that aren’t possible elsewhere."
  
Pivoting from computational biology to electronic music might not seem like the most natural career transition, but for Cooper the commonalities are obvious:
 
"In both fields, you're in a sense, free. Free from the limits of living systems, free from the limits of corporeal sound. The only constraints are in your mind."
