Warup whose real name is Leeloy Hill,was born in 1990 at Hayes Clarendon at Lionel town hospital. Attended Garvey Maceo High School,where is love for music was develop in classroom performing for his classmate and teacher at the age of 12. He would also go around in his community performing on sound system.

Warup first breakout as an artist was in 2012.Working alongside M.Geeze Production and also recording at Anchor studio,getting his music broadcast on Ire FM by D.J Wayne.
