UK-based producer Anriu's second EP of the year on Colorize after 'Burning / Orange Sky' in March is a triumph. Finnish DJ and producer Yotto has become an Anjunadeep legend since making his debut on the label in 2015. Winning huge support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard, Otto Yliperttula quickly rose to prominence with his energetic melodic house sound. His debut album ‘Hyperfall’, released in late 2018 reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Album Chart, and saw him tour the world and play at Coachella. Since then Yotto has established his own label, Odd One Out, putting out a string of club cuts supported by the likes of Tale Of Us, Artbat and Eric Prydz.

Over a year since his last solo release on Anjunadeep, Yotto now makes a welcome homecoming with ‘Another Riff For The Good Times / Daydreaming’. Demonstrating his flair with uplifting melodies, ‘ARFTGT’ is classic Yotto, whilst the restrained ‘Daydreaming’ is a highlight from the recent chart topping compilation ‘Anjunadeep 11’.

This July, talented North American producer Nox Vahn returns to Anjunadeep with his ’Dream Of Love EP’. Previously championed by the likes of Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Lane 8, Edu Imbernon, and Eelke Kleijn, Nox Vahn’s penchant for jet-black arrangements are on full show in the ‘Dream Of Love EP’. 

Title track and Anjunadeep 11 fan favourite ‘Dream Of Love’ opens the EP, followed by ‘RE-PROGRAM’, an immense club cut reminiscent on 2019’s ‘Brainwasher’. Closed out by the gothic ’Salvation’ and driving ‘Don’t Think’, ’The Dream Of Love EP’ proves Nox Vahn is successfully carving out of his own sound - a dominative blend of techno and melodic house.

Jerome Isma-ae combines the behind-the-curtain knowledge of a music producer, with the familiarity and deep knowledge of a dance floor you would expect from a DJ. Broad in his influences, and a visionary in his approach, you’ll always catch a hint of progressiveness in his sound. Jerome has been surrounded by music since his early years, with musical education in elementary school, learning the piano and later the guitar. At 12, Jerome was already playing the bass guitar in a heavy metal band, but it wasn’t until 14 that he started making his own beats with a drum machine.
Having dabbled in many dance music subgenres, you will catch glimpses of Techno, Trance, and Progressive House in his productions. A mean and heavy rhythm section is contrasted against haunting harmonies and counter melodies, and complimented by ambient and textural layers that add a new dimension to the final product. This formula is applied with top-notch clarity and a meticulous attention to detail to such an extent that the sound of his drums has become both recognizable and memorable.
