In the southern part of West Virginia there is a small coal mining town tucked away, best known for the Hatfield and McCoy Feud. This town is also home to 24-year-old country music singer Kaitlin Boytek.  Born Kaitlin Brooke Bragg on May 1st, 1990 in Logan, West Virginia.  The daughter of Cosmetologist Jennifer L. Wilson Smith began singing at the age of 4 years old in her home church in Logan County.  She entered her first singing competition at the Matewan Fair in Mingo County, West Virginia at the young age of 6, ultimately winning first place.  She has since continued pursuing a singing career, joining her first band at 12 years old and going on to compete and win numerous singing competitions. Kaitlin also has done numerous charitable events such as Relay for Life, Hatfield McCoy Ride To Survive, Coal Field Jamboree We Can, Salvation Army Benefit, Fight Against Child Poverty, Feed The Children, Childrens Shelter Fundraiser's, Medicaid Expansion, Soul for Soles and many other benefits.
Kaitlin graduated from Logan High School in 2008, going on to attend Southern West Virginia Community and Tech College, where she attended two years before withdrawing to pursue a career in music.  Kaitlin grew up in a small southern coal mining town, where she developed strong roots in traditional country, gospel, bluegrass and southern rock.  She draws inspiration not only from great American music, but from her family with whom she is extremly close.  Kaitlin is a "people person" who loves to laugh and joke, always open to meeting new people.  Kaitlin is very devoted to her family and singing career and is also committed to becoming a success in the music industry.  She often says,"I love to connect with people through my music. Kaitlin is currently working with RMA Presents Booking and has opened for several country artists including Tyler Farr and Eric Paslay.
