Vocal stylings ala Murphy/Bowie/Manson, the new band Life Love Misery looks to move you with songs via an Alt-Rock Trio + String Quartet.

After studying jazz music in college, Todd Tate made the switch to rock music by playing with a number of Bay Area bands in the late ‘90s. He later formed his own group, Life Love Misery, and rounded out the power trio’s lineup with drummer Kenny Stavropoulos (a former touring percussionist for Starship) and ex-Psychosis bassist Mario Previti. Life Love Misery also received some help from orchestrator Graham Pellettieri, who arranged string parts for the band’s first batch of songs, and the group released its self-titled studio debut.

Atma Anur is a British born drummer/producer who grew up In the U.S. and is currently living in Poland. Atma has over 150 CDs as a sideman and/or producer, and has taught at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai, India, in addition to many other learning institutions around the world.
Atma's credits include CDs with many guitar greats on the Shrapnel record label, Favoured Nations records, and many other major record labels like Geffen and JVC.
Atma may be best known for his work with artists like Jason Becker, Tony MacAlpine, Richie Kotzen and Greg Howe. Atma has also recorded and toured with many other commercial artists including Greg Allman, Third Eye Blind, Journey, Joe Satriani and David Bowie...
