Came across tribal rain in 2013 , they were hanging around in my college campus. Fell in love with the first song i heard. This song Chinta swept me like a wave, I had never heard such a different composition around, in town, in Nepali. I ran to the keyboardist of the band who happened to be my neighbour, my brother and asked him to play it for me. This recording is from my jam session with him. It has received so much love, i am grateful for the music Rahul Rai brought to my world and to many other’s. 
This must be been recorded about 10 years ago, my singing is amateur but i wanna keep this track because it reminds me to stay curious and sing with the same delight of discovering good music, there is joy, so much joy that it makes me grateful even today. This is a cover of the song Chinta by Tribal Rain, their music remains and is amazing even though Rahul da is no longer with us. He is in so many ways.

Teesta is an experimental track that aims to reflect the agony and wrath of our holistic river caused by the construction of the unregulated dams. It talks about the threat the dams poses to the natural habitat and the ecosystem.  It also showcases the possibility of natural disasters and threat to human life and existence as a whole.

I had an epic night tonight signing up for an open mic, with my guitar, way ahead of every other participant, only to find out duper late that it was an open mic for stand up comedians. NEED to document this, so recorded this the second I got home. Okay good night. Love.
