I'm not sure why this certain phenomenon popped into my head,  I never ask or dwell on finding an answer because it would probably scare the hell out of me. As you can see the lyrics that I originally wrote and the lyrics that I performed while recording the track are just a little bit different. It just sounded too robotic to me to do it like it's written so I just sang it like it felt to me, I hope you like it.

Just about every other song I make lately gets a copyright violation even though the lyrics are mine and the music is either free use or a fresh new collab. The "bot" responsible for recognizing and cancelling these needs an update, or too many songs sound too much alike for it to do its job properly. Pretty soon it will give a copyright violation when it heard a guitar, or drums, vocals etc... So I'm keeping it short and not wasting time with lyrics until I make sure it won't be violated again, it has guitar and drums...

This is a track I wrote about a month ago that I finally found the beat, tempo and mood that I've been searching for. I was so lucky to find Lilac Rust! Once I heard their music I felt an instant "click" and I knew we had to do just like peanut butter and chocolate and create our own version of a delicious peanut butter cup, audio version of course and I think it came out pretty tasty! Hi, I'm Jess Johnson.  You'll see other Jess Johnson's online and on here but I am the real one, the one you've been looking for. I began writing original lyrics and singing about 2 years ago. When I started I didn't have a specific genre I wanted to focus on, I just performed the song like I thought it should be based on the content and vibe of it. That turned out to produce tracks that left me confused as to which genre should be assigned to each track so I just got as close as I thought it might be and labeled it. With that being said, you will notice that the genres i chose for a track may not be the genre you think it should be.
