Jamie XX turned the pace down, when he sampled this song on his brilliant track "Loud Places". I've chosen to do the opposite and push this 70's jazz-funk gem out on the dancefloor.

"Could Heaven Ever Be Like This" is the opening track on jazz drummer Idris Muhammad's fifth album, "Turn This Mutha Out", released in 1977. And even though this edit is made in 2015, it's supposed to sound kind of like a vintage disco treatment. I hope it does. And that it makes you dance.

I like to keep it eclectic, no matter if I'm playing a buzzing club night or a chilled beach bar. Mixing up disco, indie, funk, house, rock, hip-hop, global sounds and quality pop... and most things inbetween, depending on place and time. It's about good music, not genres.

I got serious about spinning records back in the mid-90’s, when I became resident DJ at Copenhagen club institution Rust. Since then I've played a large number of clubs and events in our wonderful city. Including Vega, Bremen Natbar, Jolene, TS Bar, Gefährlich, Bakken, Karriere Bar and many more. And at events for a.o. Vice Magazine, Levi's, Saatchi & Saatchi and Zentropa.
