To the time that the moment of being thirsty and a juice-box was the height of my dreams and longings. To a time of having squished sandwiches in a lunch bag. The smell of my usual pate on rye bread lunch at play school and a kókó-mjólk to go with it. Having rosey cheeks from running around or from the cold air. Jumping from the swings as far as I could go. Singing all the time Súrmjólk í hádeginu og seríos á kvöldin. Having wet feet but not wanting to go inside. Camping and drinking Hi-C and waiting for the hot dog to burst on the grill - no raw onions, please. Feeling like you have the sun on your face all the time. 

Teleport me to the time 
When blowing into the juice-box was so much fun. Putting it on the ground with the drinking straw inside and stomping on it to see how far the straw would fly. Peeling the paper from the outside of the carton until you get to the foil-plastic part, that surrounds the liquid. To when 200ml was enough and the biggest worry I had in the world was missing Húsið á sléttunni on TV on a sunday.


This piece is inspired by my daughter. She was drinking a juice box one day and found a great sound. She made me videos of the sound and sent them to me. We then decided to make the thing bigger. More drinking juice and her siblings also taking part. This ended up being so much fun.

Intro of "After I Said Goodnight" features a jungle ambience totally created on "The Mighty Serge" modular analog synthesizer in a live improv performance in 1980. It is from the album "Lullaby for the Hearts of Space." It is available on Hearts of Space Records on the Valley Entertainment site. www.valley-entertainment.com 
The whole album consists of two extended pieces performed live on the Mighty Serge Synthesizer. I hadn't built the Steiner EWI (electronic woodwind instrument) until 4 years later. Enjoy!
