As we draw towards the end of 2018, we are proud to have amassed such a stunning collection of originals here on the 'Introducing' channel. We truly believe that musical variation is everything, and are therefore thrilled to bring you this heater from Dunman. Through a clever combination of grimey influences and early dubstep themes, he brings forward 'Desert Eagle', a gnarly roller designed to bring the energy up on any 140 set. From the off we are greeted with cheeky horn stabs and grizzly LFOs, calling and responding in melody to bring a real natural 'dip and weave' to the whole affair.

We reckon Sheffield-based producer Utah? found his spiritual home on Coyote Records. Much like the killer London label, his music gravitates around emotional, impactful soundscapes, swirling with metallic motifs and weighty low-end pressure.

His latest, a four-tracker appropriately titled ‘Bronze’, demonstrates Utah?’s flair for cinematic, imaginative material that tranfixes you much like material shared by fellow Coyote mainstays Silk Road Assassins and Last Japan. Today, we’re delighted to be premiering the project's title track, but if we’re honest, we could have picked them all.

Premiere: Utah? 'Bronze'

Brighton's Inkline returns to Southpoint with 'Venom', a project consisting of three original heaters showcasing exactly where his sound has developed since the release of his 'Gentlemen' EP back in 2017.

We kick off with the delicious dripping bass themes of the title track ‘Venom’, an industrial stomper, packed with electronic energy, rotating between rowdy robotic synth sounds and crunchy metallic drum smashes. Next, the pace quickens with slick 4x4 rhythms and tech-infused clicking melodies of ‘Carousel’ which certainly takes us for a wild spin, before we finish up the with the more harmonious chimes and luscious vocal slices of ‘Aquila’, which moves into more blippy dancefloor goodness as it progresses.

'Venom' is the perfect representation of Inkline’s super unique sound, drawing from a wide range of dance music influences to culminate something truly original every time. It’s an absolute pleasure to have him back with us for what will be our fifty-seventh full release.

Since the original was released, 'Desert Eagle' has received a tonne of support from some of grime scene's most popular DJs, making this VIP all the more potent. Dunman gets seriously busy with it, refixing the rhythms into a more high tempo structure, along with a bag of new twisted bass sounds and drum chops, allowing the original to keep its potency whilst still upgrading it for 2019.
