Sam Steele - Live At Dreamstate - March 2023

Tucked away deep in Costa Rica, where the jungle meets the ocean, you will find a little surf town with a HUGE energy, an energy that drives the soul to thrive. Santa Teresa is the town, but most people just call it Paradise.

Moon Tribe Gathering is an event held under every new moon and full moon. It's a place where a group of us get together to share our favorite medicines. Meditation, cacao, kirtan, sound healing and of course dance. I have been lucky enough to be a part of the Moon Tribe for almost 2 years now, bringing my love of music to incredible people who are so open to loose them selfs in dance and just go wild. 

This mix was recorded at our events at Zunya for the new moon in Gemini. It was a hot night but no one held back from getting loose and throwing themselves deep into movement. There was a lot of sweat, cheering, animal sounds and smiles from start to finish. 

I think this is one of my favorite sets I have played for Moon Tribe, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Primal Disco plows through the snow day with jamming hot disco, house, remixes of old hip hop faves, some rock...So much damn fun. I took advantage of the snow day making the crowd light and let go of the desire to be perfectly stylized. The crowd really enjoyed bouncing around. I even pulled an audience member up and had him transition a song for me. I gave ZERO fucks and it made the night for all of us who braved the storm have a damn good time.

• 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 ─ I've Been Searching EP •

Paris based DJ and producer 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 steps forward with a striking self released EP featuring 2 tracks, “I’ve Been Searching” and “Surgery.” 

Both tracks navigate the shadowy corners of house music with cinematic sensibility. “I’ve Been Searching” opens with a patient, melancholic drift and minor chords stretch across a dreamlike groove, the production being spacious and moody.

“Surgery” shares a similar palette but feels slightly more tense. The structure is tighter, more mechanical, yet still connected to the emotional undercurrent that defines the release. The contrast between the tracks adds dynamic range while maintaining unity.
