The original ‘Fallin In Love’ rounded off a stream of effervescent, club-ready singles from the GRAMMY-nominated duo in 2024, earning support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Coco & Breezy and Purple Disco Machine plus a host of other top selectors. Stepping up to remix the bright and soulful record in 2025 is award-winning artist Butch, a Defected returnee and magnetic DJ whose effortless suave and expertise has made him one of electronic music’s most respected names. His remix of ‘Fallin In Love’ capitalises on the joyous nature of the original, starting with an addictively bouncy bassline and building to a euphoric string line that soars above the pounding production. Nightlife authority Alan Dixon reimagines a defining house classic on Glitterbox, ‘Infinity’ by Infinity Ink. A firm friend of Glitterbox, the producer, DJ and label founder’s previous label outings include ‘Sunday Stomper’ with Will Tramp and ‘Nothing But Happiness’, with the latter receiving much play from Danny Krivit, Folamour and Dave Lee (JN). His relationship with the London label continues to grow in 2025, with upcoming sets at fabric in London for sister label Defected, their flagship festival in Croatia plus an impressive Ibiza showing planned for the summer… Originally released in 2012 by Luca Cazal and Ali Love as Infinity Ink, ‘Infinity’ would quickly become a standout record from the second ‘golden-era of house’ in the 2010s; now Alan Dixon adds an explosive, synth-laden verve to the seminal classic for a Glitterbox release built for modern dancefloors.

Modern house champion Butch returns to Defected alongside genre-hopping songwriter and vocalist Life On Planets with ‘Get High With You’. Butch’s 2023 release ‘I Want You’ with Nic Fanciulli was one of Defected’s most celebrated, and in 2025 he returned to the London label, remixing Duck Sauce’s ‘Fallin In Love’ which charted in the Beatport top ten and was supported by Danny Howard, Arielle Free and Sarah Story on BBC Radio 1. Also no stranger to the Defected family, Life On Planets landed on sister label Classic Music Company in 2023 alongside Lubelski with the eclectic ‘Mercury In Retrograde’, a tastemaker release showcasing the multi-instrumentalists soulful vocals and songwriting prowess. The two artists now come together on Defected, after Butch remixed Life On Planets’ ‘Downstream’ with Makèz; ‘Get High With You’ shows a clear reverence for the noughties, but modern harmonic progressions and daring production choices propel the record into 2025 and beyond.
