Ibiza - the birthplace of modern dance music. 20 years on and the island remains an important catalyst for today’s hottest dance talents. This year, OceanLab, the project featuring Above & Beyond and singer/songwriter Justine Suissa spent several weeks holed up in a villa there finishing their debut album, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’.

Seeped in Balearic brilliance, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ is a mix of blissed out epics and dancefloor cuts. An album of depth, variety and serene beauty, showcasing a level of songwriting and production rarely witnessed within electronic music, and already drawing comparisons with bands such as Zero 7 and Everything But The Girl.

What to do when your sound is very much alike someone else's? You join forces! That's exactly what Omnia and The Blizzard did. Norwegian producers Lars-Christian Nyheim and Tore Vatle Jensen of The Blizzard teamed up with Ukrainian producer Smirnov Aleksandrovich, and made their sounds melt into one beautiful ensemble. 'Metanoia' is the first result of their fruitful studio time together.

The eerie, atmospheric sounds, as heard on the previous The Blizzard releases 'Iselilja' and 'Kalopsia', make a strong pact with the light and melodic works of Omnia. Balancing things out till the very last beat, 'Metanoia' represents trance and progressive in perfect harmony. More collabs of this trio are coming up, so keep an eye out!

After picking up mainstream radio support from Radio 1, ‘On A Good Day (Metropolis)’ is now being released alongside a drum &amp; bass rework from scene stalwarts J Majik and Wickaman (known for their uplifting, club-smashing remix of Deadmau5’s chart hit ‘I Remember’), which has already been hammered by Andy C, Chrissy Chris (1 Xtra), Radio 1’s Grooverider, Hype, Judge Jules and Adam F. A previously unreleased acoustic version will feature as iTunes exclusive track.

Tapping into the vocal’s narrative of triumph over adversity, the official music video centres on the story of Detroit’s Georgia Street Community Collective, and their drive to regenerate the derelict buildings and industrial graveyards of Detroit and transform them into urban farms and community gardens.

Tritonal collaborated with Jeza for two productions on 'Piercing The Quiet', resulting in two modern day vocal anthems. Remixed in supreme fashion by Dan Stone, Maor Levi and Nitrous Oxide for 'Piercing The Quiet : Remixed', the full extended versions of these three reworks are available for the first time in this special EP release, as supported by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond. The remixes are taken from Tritonal's 'Piecing The Quiet Remixed' - a double-disc delight packed with 14 remixes by some of the biggest names in trance and progressive and 10 club mixes by Tritonal themselves, 'Piercing The Quiet: Remixed' is sure to give fans of the beloved originals an album to take away the pain of summer coming to an end. 'It was important to us these remixes stayed true to the originals and so we worked with some of our favorite producers who brought their amazing and fresh ideas to the table,' says Tritonal.
