The second scene to my opera "The Second Sight," a mythical tale about the spiritual connections between generations of women. 

In this scene - The Queen Spirit calls her Spirit Chorus to sing a haunting song through which they alternately bring and calm the rain. A woman named Freyaria then emerges from her home when she hears their vocalizations, frightened but assuming "It must be the rain!" When the wandering mystic Diskana emerges from her journey through the storm, Freyaria welcomes her into her home.
