First found among Kangaroos, Wombats and Bilbies by a group of campers walking through the Australian Bush. 

DROPBEAR is a spirit that has no bounds or boxes to what is imagined in this space. 

Dreams of taking sonic experience further and further into expansive higher vibrational dimensions, awakening consciousness into the ethereal otherworld plane. 

Inspired by House, Techno, Psychedelic, Electronic, Acoustic, Downtempo, Experimental, Australian DOOF Culture, and Sound Healing. 

The mission here is to take you away on a journey to another place, time and space, connect you to a higher plane and make you LOSE YOUR SHIT/ascend/fall in LOVE/awaken the world/all sorts of shit. 

I infuse my own journey, everything I know, everything I stand for, and the project here is to help us all heal, to inspire, to empower and bring us all home.

I’m a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. I’m based in regional Victoria. After working a soul-destroying office job, I now do cool shit. I play acoustic guitar and a variety of small instruments. I create deeply personal lyric and the sound of modern folk and blues combined with soundscapes of found sounds and field recordings.

Equal parts monk, Visigoth and village idiot, the Spooky Men’s Chorale explores the paradoxes of latter day masculinity with unbridled enthusiasm, a pleasing array of deep harmonies, and a twinkle in their eye. They’ve somehow mastered the impossible art of being both musically immaculate and blitheringly stupid, whilst essaying an increasingly preposterous array of subject matter: tools, mastodons, their own body parts, surfing, gluttony, and how to scare off hostile neighbouring tribes at 5.43 am.

Arising from the Blue Mountains in Australia, the Spooky Men’s Chorale have been gleefully smashing up and reassembling the world of  men’s singing since 2001, and will now continue their long, slow, global conquest with a 6th tour of the UK, tenderly brandishing their latest album  “Warm”, a long requested idyll in a vast, bottomless, massively comforting musical sofa.

hello!  i'm Kat but you can call me Miaow, like my cat does....  i'm a singer/songwriter/musician/music-lover from Scotland and have been all my life.  this is my first solo project.  my debut album, Year Zero, which is out on all digital platforms.
