Manchester based experimental/alt rock band with ambient sounds, deep bass tones and a lot of heart.  

The Prions are an unsigned eclectic Manchester based indie rock band with an emphasis on well crafted song writing, innovative melodies, and highly energetic live shows. Our influences vary from classic indie bands such as The Smiths, Joy Division and The Police, to modern artists such as Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club, giving us a classic sound with a modern approach. 

After playing at numerous high profile venues and festivals around the Manchester area (including The Ritz, Gorilla, Sound Control, Club Academy, When In Manchester, Sonder Festival & more), as well as attracting a crowd of over 100 people to our debut EP launch, we will be releasing our second EP 'Days of our Teens' on the 5th May with a launch show at Fallow Cafe, Manchester.

Having been DJing and immersing himself in electronic music for over a decade, Resampler has mastered the art of creating and maintaining a vibe and building energy and tension in his mixes. With a love of all electronic music, Resamplers sets can range from dreamy after party minimal house all the way to peak time driving techno - depending on the setting. His flawless mixing and meticulous track selections have seen him play at numerous venues across the UK most notably - Gorilla, Manchester and Blue Mountain, Bristol. 
Recently Resampler has been busy in the studio creating his own dance floor ready edits of iconic film and TV theme songs in which he injects his signature underground, 4 to the floor sound with the mission of revitalising and reimagining already brilliant pieces of music to let them shine in a different environment.

In 2016 Resampler co-founded @parloursessions and produces the popular weekly podcast ‘Parlour Radio’ in which local talented DJ’s and fellow Parlour Sessions resident DJ’s have the platform to get their mixes heard by the world 🌎
