AudioBakery is a band that blends genres; it is a band that strives for art in everything they do. AudioBakery is something unique, a musical experience that leaves the listener feeling perplexed yet satisfied. Heavy-hitting breakdowns flow into jazzy grooves, and ambient sounds morph to chaos as every single note seems to melt into its respective place. While this may attempt to describe what actually is, AudioBakery must be experienced. Listen and enlighten yourself.

AudioBakery began in the summer of 2009, at the start of the members' senior year in high school. Members of the band all have come from different bands locally, and achieved a bit of success in the local scene. The band began jamming and writing songs right away. By winter, the band had written a few songs and wanted to record. "Slaptap" was the song to be recorded. Though the song is a far cry from what the band has proven capable of, it demonstrates talent that is clearly the precursor to great things.
As 2010 came, AudioBakery continued to write songs. Although the band played a couple shows, the writing process became the primary focus. Throughout the school year, the band jammed almost every single day, taking breaks only for Chipotle or El Famous Burrito. As the band continued on, the members grew closer to each other and the project became a very organic, wholesome experiment.
During the summer of 2010, a year after AudioBakery first came to be, the band was finishing writing the songs that would be on their first EP and was ready to once again head to the studio to record. A week of recording, and the "Sounds Yummy" EP was born, it is a beautiful baby boy.
In the Winter of 2010, AudioBakery continues to write songs, each better than the last. A new musical dimension is added when a new member joins AudioBakery. Dane Jarvie will now be collaborating on this artistic venture.

When asked what genre of music Audiobakery falls under, one might have difficulty explaining. With often soft, transient verses and bridges, accompanied by spacious break downs and rock laden choruses, the band does their best to take every musical influence between the members, toss them in the blender and turn it on high speed. The band went through a small line up change circa 2011, adding Brett Schomer on drums and subtracting a keys player, at which point the boys began developing past their bands’ infancy. Bound Together, their first full length album, featured shortened track times and an incredible variety of sounds, leaving the listener unsure of what route the band would continue upon. Audiobakery is currently recording their second record, which features longer track times, a more focused variety of psychedelic and heavy rock sounds, and more sound musicianship across the board, from guitar work to vocal performance. The new record features significantly more profound hooks and choruses, making their rock compositions more poppy and palatable. 
The foothold of Audiobakery culture, however, is found in their live performances which boast powerful, emotional energy akin to At the Drive In, the Mars Volta, and other punk or metal influenced groups who enjoy throwing themselves and their instruments around stage. The band’s ability to bring listeners from rock guided highs to drastic, intoxicating lows is a staple of their sound. Audiobakery strives, as any other artist or group, to rise above the oppressive label of genre.
