Kwartz

Originally from Madrid, Kwartz has now made Berlin his creative hub.
Kwartz first caught the attention of global tastemakers with a series of electrifying EPs, setting him on a trajectory to join the esteemed PoleGroup in 2013, helmed by the iconic Oscar Mulero, where he began to release his works regularly.
Beyond his works on PoleGroup, Kwartz's music has left an indelible mark on prominent international labels, including SK_Eleven, 47, Mord Records, Semantica, Horo, and Warm Up Recordings, to name just a few. In 2016, he embarked on a new journey, launching his own label, Order&Devotion, where he explores dark atmospheres and visceral sounds, all seamlessly interwoven with rhythms designed for the dance floor. In 2021 he started a parallel project with Kaiser called Force Reaction, a project oriented towards a more classic side of techno. Kwartz's sets are more than just music; they are captivating stories told through sound.
Through a thrilling blend of raw, mental, and driving elements, he keeps dance floors in a constant state of tension.

I had the joy of playing a sunny afternoon set 15:00-17:30 before Konduku, so I kept things bright & groovy 🌻🧚🌞

This set features some IDM, electro and minimal tracks I haven’t played out in years, alongside recent releases I’ve been enjoying.

The whole festival was beautifully programmed and curated, and I heard many inspiring sets throughout the weekend in the iconic grounds of the Castell De Montjuïc.

The Silentist started his long journey in the depth of electronic music more than ten years ago. He quickly started building up a consequent collection of vinyls from distinct genres, with highlights from labels such as Giegling, Northern Electronics, Kann and Delsin. His exploration of grooves leads to unexpected destinations, ranging from deep house to driving techno, from dub pads to broken beats, from Waking Life to De School.  The Silentist recently self-released his first EP, Fall Dub EP, showcasing the dub techno he particularly enjoys. Join him in this new one-hour vinyl-only set, where he plays musics from artists of this genre and the likes.
