Es ist schwierig zur Tagesordnung überzugehen, bei all dem Wahnsinn und schrecklichen Ereignissen, die sich momentan in der Welt abspielen. Ein wenig Trost, Freude und Ablenkung finden wir dann doch, mit einem wunderschönen Mix von DJ Balaton. Gisela! Ein klassischer Shot der Wohl in keiner Bar und Club fehlen darf, was man über DJ Balaton übrigens auch sagen könnte. Lange haben wir uns auf diesen Mix gefreut. “Joy” is a moody track with psychedelic guitar chords layered over haunting pads, while the thumping kick drum and shuffling hi-hats hold the groove steady.

Playing sunday night at Fusion Festival is something you can't plan and style in advance. I thought about this before and definitely recognized it when stepping into Räuberhöhle one hour before the gig. Really not the right time to follow any plans, so I didn't and it felt totally right. There were people all around, dancing up on the bar, dj pult, everywhere. I also spotted something similar to stagediving in the second half of my set and I really never considered stagediving as something appropriate for techno or house music. But it was!! And its even more crazy the more I try to remember every detail. Listening to my set right now I still feel that this has some more twists than normally - so everytime you think it might be a little weird or crazy - believe me - it was weird and crazy. 

This final night created so much energy. Maybe because everybody was already happy or maybe because nothing else mattered anymore since everybody was kinda dusty, dirty and happy anyways. Thanks to everybody who was part of the madness, thanks Räuberhöhle and thanks Fusion for this wild and unexpected trip. Wahnsinn!

What a festival season we had last year. Unforgettable memories, everlasting days and nights. We made new friends and smiled for hours together. But this year is totally different. In memory of our beloved garbicz festival, we celebrated our own special minigarbicz day on 2020-08-01. Enjoy and see u all again in 2021, hopefully!
