After three weeks spent in Ibiza and a hectic schedule of gigs i'd say this summer has definitely been my favourite to date! - 0913 aims to prolong those summer vibes with it's ibizan influence and includes a selection of beats that i've discovered (and have been loving!) over the past few months. 

As always... a massive thank you to everyone who listens to my music / mixes / tracks etc for their support. Always appreciated. <3

Sidney Charles has delivered us an outstanding EP with a mixture of tracks that span across house and techno that has captured a real feel for what Sidney is capable of. Each one has its own unique flavour with Sidney’s production prowess sprinkled over the top. Each beat is chunky, groovy and works in a harmonious juxtaposition with the melodies Sidney creates. All are dancefloor killers!

Solid Grooves Records is inaugurated by Spanish producer Wade with three animated tech house cuts and a remix from Sable Sheep.

First up, ‘Into The Light’ marches forward with cavernous kicks, echoing vocal samples and an
intricate hook, before ‘Showtime’ delivers a thunderous low-end joined by shuffling hats and twisted
sounds.  Things get rhythmic in ‘Throwin’ Down’ with syncopated percussion and punchy snares,
until Sable Sheep, who’s known for releases on Moon Harbour and Desolat, alters the
title track with his signature trippy synths and imaginative drum work.

There are few dj/producers that have nearly a decade in the industry and still continuing to evolve year on year. Based in Leeds, Jey Kurmis has an individual sound that he has established through several EPs on some of the most acclaimed labels worldwide. With a distinct dark heavy bass line and edgy vocals that set his tracks apart. Jey has played the likes of DC-10, The Warehouse Project, WMC, Sonar, BPM and many more. 

After his artists defining first EP on Hot Creations, Jey has continued his portfolio with a wealth of releases on Moon Harbour and several more EP’s signed to Hot Creations with others throughout the years on more niche labels such as Kaluki, Leftroom, Material and many more. Jey has set a precedent for himself continually bringing out a sound unlike any other. 

With the support and backing from some of the biggest names in the industry including Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Matthias Tanzmann, Patrick Topping, Solardo and many more, Jey has returned to the studio and with several EP’s already in the pipleline, this is set to be a defyning time for his talent.
