The latest edition of Clarisse’s artist EP series continues to bring together the best house talents from across the world. All concerned come with hot reputations and backing from the globe’s greatest DJs – standard qualifications when it comes to passing the Clarisse test – so without further ado, let’s hit play and get into the magnificent seven…
 
‘Baby New’ by ACA (YU) brings home the bacon with a deep and funky roll out featuring brandy-flavoured R&B samples giving you that look across the dancefloor. Live and direct from Ibizan scenery, the Serbian DJ and vocalist gets things shaking like a summertime cocktail, so drink it in.


Kidoo doing the ‘Cha Cha’ is a 100% carnival trigger, luxurious Latin house from the respected Romanian spinner that’s full of babbling bongos and chatty horns – a groove gliding around the sands, sized up by larger-than-life vocals looking to get lucky. 
 
Up next bringing some Malaga magic, Spega follows his own advice on ‘Dontstoppp’. Launched from a throbbing bassline to crack clubs wide open with, stick-em-up samples and side orders of splintered sounds are programmed to bow down to that laser-guided low end.
 
Bouncing out of Brazil, Techin’s ‘Doux Jazzy’ reaches out to a laidback Parisian bar, taking in vocal samples of nonchalant style, and smart splashes of twinkling keys and warm chords. The track forges ahead with kicks and bass in a race to the terrace.


More South American flavour concludes the EP; the ‘Balsamic’ flavour belonging to the Argentinean Tides, brings the funk and an understated grace to the table: house hard at work that’s shaped by casual keys bubbling from below, and a jazziness that’ll delight crowds getting their sunshine shuffle on. Jey has set a precedent for himself continually bringing out a sound unlike any other. 

With the support and backing from some of the biggest names in the industry including Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Matthias Tanzmann, Patrick Topping, Solardo and many more, Jey has returned to the studio and with several EP’s already in the pipleline, this is set to be a defyning time for his talent.
