Since 2015, SINE have been establishing themselves across London as a purveyor of quality drum and bass nights, putting on parties at venues such as Fabric, E1, Fire & Lightbox and many more. Teaming up with the likes of Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings and ProgRAM, the nights became a go-to for underground drum and bass rinse-outs in the capital, with a close-knit family feel and focus on vibes over everything else.

Over the last year, SINE have been on a journey, expanding the public’s perception of what they can offer to the scene. The beginning of 2020 saw the official launch of SINE Audio, the label arm to the SINE moniker, aiming to transfer the same quality-over-quantity ethos over from their club nights to the label’s output. 

Their sound shifts between the deeper, club-ready end of the spectrum, more experimental efforts, and smooth liquid vibes. SINE have been steadily building their arsenal for when clubs return to the fold, and are ready to fuse their original events expertise with the new label.

Steve Fabus, one of the few club DJs whose career spans almost the entire history of the profession and art form itself. He has played at legendary clubs Trocadero Transfer, I-Beam and EndUp in San Francisco, Tracks and River Club in NYC and Does Your Mama Know and Probe in LA. Currently in SF he is co-founder with Sergio Fedasz and resident of Go BANG going into its 12th year. He plays all over the San Francisco Bay Area and has done guest spots across the country in NYC, Chicago, LA, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami and other cities. Across the pond he's played at Horse Meat Disco and Dalston Superstore in London, Cocktail d'Amore in Berlin and Sub Club in Glasgow. Last summer he played a banner closing set at the Honcho Campout queer music gathering on the East Coast and was scheduled to play the Glastonbury Music Festival in the UK this June.

BIO  Early years details:
While playing the city’s infamous all-night loft party, Boiler Room in 1977, Steve was recruited to spin San Francisco's first large venue disco, The I-Beam. Trocadero Transfer opened shortly thereafter where Steve shared the booth with Bobby Viteritti.  In 1980, Steve became a resident of San Francisco’s legendary EndUp.  His shift was the 6 am to 2 pm slot for the Sunday morning party and many people credit him for starting what is still known as "Church".  

Offered residencies at both River Club and Tracks, Steve moved to New York City in 1983. Steve was inspired by many of the great DJs of this pinnacle period of Dance Music, from Larry Levan and David DePino at The Paradise Garage and Tracks, to Robbie Leslie at The Saint. Disco transitioned to Garage and House on Steve's Sundays at Tracks, where the night would not end until Monday morning.  

In 1988 Steve moved back to San Francisco to reopen Dreamland, and not long after, joined forces with promoter Gus Bean at the House club, Crew at the the former Trocadero space.  Steve then moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and quickly became a resident at Axis, Asylum and Pulse, and often played at Probe and the legendary afterhours club, Does Your Mama Know?
