After a decade of suffering thru debilitating back/body pain, surgeries, therapy, I grew weary of my plight. Till one day, in March of 2016 I picked up a paint brush, locked the door behind me and painted, and painted for 10-12 hr days for a year like a psycho. I did this without the aid of any training, Youtube tutorials, books, or even Bob Ross' happy trees. It was 100% trail and error. Im now approaching my 2 yr anniversary & I've upwards of 500 separate works under my belt. Early on, I started recording time-lapse videos to track my progress & study technique & methodology. Upon reviewing my videos, I realized I would like somehow turn my writings into songs, to serve as my background in these vids. So late 2017; with help of my nephew BabyJ (Onelife Records), we began this process, and our 1st attempt produced Ingenu (which I wrote for my dearest friend Aurora). People seemed to receive it well, so we recorded more (still unreleased) songs. Many Many coals are in the fire, & my goal is touch as many people as possible, utilizing as many senses as they'll let me seep into. HEAR SEE LOOK & above all FEEL ME!

Takeru Sasaki a.k.a TAKERU is a fantastic new artist /songwriter, Originally from Tokyo Japan now based in London, UK and Sweden. While most other newcomer artists in Tokyo would turn to producers and record labels around the corner Takeru had his mind set on an international career from the start. Takeru’s versatility led to record deals in France, Denmark and UK as well as the opportunity to work with some of the best producers and songwriters in Scandinavia and internationally, some of whom have written hits for artists such as Meja, Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync, Robyn, Ace of Base etc.

As a Songwriter Takeru’s great sense of melody and topline attracted opportunities to work with Major publishers and A&Rs from all around the world. He's written songs for Japanese big acts such as Daichi Miura, U-Kiss etc. His latest cut and placement landed on Johnny's boyband Sexy Zone’s new album "Welcome To Sexy Zone" which included the track that Takeru wrote, the album went on to debut at #1 on the CD album chart in Japan.
