I wrote Loon's Delight on a vacation on a beautiful lake in Maine. The other musicians were Mark Murphy on bass and Ambrose Verdibello on guitar. I am playing an early 1960's Gibson solidbody electric EM200 mandolin thru a '64 Fender Vibrolux reverb amp.

Loon's Delight

La Paloma by SebastianYradier, circa 1850.  This is the most recorded Sapanish song ever.
The mandolin and first guitar trade solos and octaves in the first half.  At the key change they play together in harmony over the rhythm guitar with ornaments throughout.

The Dove (La Poloma)

Composition by Wm. C. Packard, this tango was written in 1985.
The mandolin and guitar dance the tango!

The Redhead Tango (La Testarosa)

La Sorella by Charles Borel-Clerc first performed in 1906.  
The theme of this arrangement is two sisters, older and younger, singing together.  The two mandolin parts were culled from the original piano score.
