The Story of Prāta Vētra is that of best friends who grow up together, went to the same school, shared the same dreams and together fulfilled them. They come from a unique generation. Born in Latvia which was then part of the giant Soviet Union, they experienced a Soviet upbringing, the battle for a freedom and were part of the first generation to embrace new possibilities the freedom brought. Experiencing these two radical systems has shaped their musical style.

After Prāta Vētra conquered the hearts of music lovers in native Latvia and became a household name, the band took a chance on reaching the audiences beyond the borders of their motherland. PRĀTA VĒTRA during their career have released albums in Europe and Russia, supported bands like “R.E.M.”, “The Rolling Stones”, “Depeche Mode”, e.t.c.. World-known photographer Anton Corbijn has made photos for three albums and designed the logo of the band. As  A.Corbijn has described: “There is this beautiful thing that great bands have something… Identity and I think PRĀTA VĒTRA has that,”

Nicole Kasenko - born Russian, raised in Riga , DJ/producer and co-Founder of “atelier” music label and promo group based in Moscow, Russia. She started her DJ career in London at the age 18, after couple years of sharing her music around “west end” nightlife suddenly moved to Los Angeles where has learned from the best about music production/sound engineering/mixing and mastering in “Dubspot” famous electronic music production school. After all moved to Moscow, where started working with different promo groups which brought her to DJ in the lots of underground parties playing alongside and b2b to many popular artists from around the world. Same time she got surrounded by incredibly talented local DJs and producers, that gave a start for organisation of their own projects together. Now she performs as a DJ internationally, producing music, being in charge of “atelier” music label and  promo group events organisation, in Moscow and Internationally, taking part working on a high quality music production content of the artists and putting all the passion in labels development to increase international popularity of the main idea of “atelier”, and taking part in a set shows on a radio “Soullive FM”.

Max Richter trained in composition and piano at Edinburgh University, at the Royal Academy of Music, and with Luciano Berio in Florence.

On completing his studies, Max co-founded the iconoclastic classical ensemble Piano Circus, where he stayed for ten years, commissioning and performing works by Arvo Pärt, Brian Eno, Philip Glass, Julia Wolfe and Steve Reich.

In the late 90s he worked with a number of electronic artists, notably Future Sound of London on their album 'Dead Cities". He subsequently collaborated with FSOL over a period of two years, also contributing to the albums "The Isness" and "The Peppermint Tree and Seeds of Superconsciousness". Max also collaborated with Mercury Prize winner Roni Size, on "In the Mode".

In June 2002, Max released his debut solo album, "memoryhouse", recorded with The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. This was followed in March 2004 by FatCat's release of "The Blue Notebooks", with featured readings by Tilda Swinton.

In 2005 Max produced Vashti Bunyan's outstanding comeback album "Lookaftering".

2006 saw the release of "Songs From Before" based on Haruki Murakami texts read by Robert Wyatt. That same year, Max began performing "from The Art of Mirrors", an evolving score to previously unseen Super 8mm films of Derek Jarman.

Max's more recent work continues to stretch the notions of what Classical music is.  ‘24 Postcards In Full Colour’, released in August 2008, is an experimental work made up of 24 composed ringtones.

Max works widely in film music, installation and the theatre, most recently on INFRA, made with Wayne MacGregor and Julian Opie for The Royal Ballet, London. The Ballet was the subject of a BBC 'making of' documentary.

Max was named 2008 European Composer Of The Year for his score to Ari Folman's Waltz With Bashir, for which he was also nominated for the Prix France Musique.

Leon Somov & Jazzu is live performing Lithuanian band playing pop/electronic music.

European Music Awards 2011 award winners for 'Best Baltic Act' started their stunning musical carrer in 2005. Since then vocalist Jazzu (Juste Arlauskaite) and producer Leon Somov (Leonas Somovas) found their way into big concert halls and became highly in demand with their full-band live concerts.

2012 -- Leon Somov 'Producer of the Year' and Jazzu "Best Female Singer of the Year' at Lithuanian music association awards (M.A.M.A.)

BAND: In 2008 Leon Somov & Jazzu started to perform with a live band consisting of Darius Rudis (drums) and Domas Aleksa (bass guitar). The team is touring in Lithuania, UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden.
