STO is back with the third instalment of the series, ‘Back To School 3’. Out today as a free download, it takes a turn in a new direction, landing as a raw and inventive club cut that draws from house, techno, and electro in equal measure.

From the first beat, the track carries a rough and ready energy. The drums are sharp and urgent, locking into a groove that feels immediate and physical. A weighty low end drives it forward while bursts of retro-tinted sounds shoot across the mix, giving the track its distinctive character. This blend of grit and precision makes it stand out as a weapon for DJs who want something with bite.

Where previous instalments focused on disco flair or acid groove, part three explores a more hybrid sound. The lines between genres blur as electro elements rub shoulders with house rhythms and techno pressure. The result is playful but still purposeful, a track that surprises with detail while keeping the dancefloor locked in.

STO’s production style is clear throughout. Each element has texture and weight, from the distorted stabs to the crisp percussion. There is space in the mix, but it is never empty. Every sound feels chosen to build momentum and deliver energy. That balance between grit and control is what gives the track its punch.
