Over 25 years ago amidst Calgary's vibrant rave culture, J9's musical journey began, igniting a passion that continues to shape her purpose in life. In 2011, she founded J9Productions, initially captivating audiences with her unique brand of burlesque shows and live music events before transitioning to organizing House music events in 2016, notably the renowned HUMPDay HOUSE Party. 

Driven by a profound connection to music, J9 embarked on her DJing journey in 2022, dedicating herself to learning the skill in the month leading up to her very first gig. Since her debut, J9 has graced the decks at prestigious events such as Wicked Woods Music Festival, and has had the honour of opening for esteemed artists like Megan Hamilton and Average Citizens.

Known for her discerning musical taste, J9 meticulously selects tracks that deeply resonate with her soul, characterized by a blend of sensuality and groove. House music and Drum and Bass are her preferred genres, although her repertoire spans a diverse range of styles.
