I first picked up a real guitar at age 8 but at that time I wasnt quite ready to learn how to really play the thing. My love of music was there from day one though. I was always singing my favorite songs and jamming along with fake guitars. Gathering my influences from the music that my parents, grandparents, and peers listened to. When I was 15 I decided to try to learn how to play a real electric guitar and purchased an old beat up one from a friend. I practiced non-stop (without an amplifer lol) and managed to teach myself enough to be able to form a band. From that point on I was always in bands and playing shows at local all age venues. When I turned 21 I was able to finally play in bars and clubs which I did for the next 5 years. Unfortunately, the local scene dried up and it became hard to find shows and even other people who wanted to put the time in that a band requires. So when my last band split up I decided to perform my music acoustically with just a guitar. So far the response has been great and I really appreciate all the kind words I have heard about it.
