Cistern is an album inspired by time Bischoff spent improvising in an empty, two-million-gallon, underground water tank, with a 45-second reverb decay. The unique acoustics of the space forced Bischoff to slow down and adapt his compositional approach - something which, unexpectedly, brought him back to his childhood, and the slow-pace of life he experienced growing up on a sailboat.

Celebration Single

Celebration (Featuring The Celebration Choir)

These are short improvisations on an instrument I built from things you can find at hardware stores. I did all of these in about 5 hours right after finishing building so these are me just learning what sounds I can get from it. I am calling the instrument Umman Manda (The horde from who knows where). All the sounds are with minimal processing. Just reverb, sometimes a bit of delay and some light eq. I tried to keep it not too processed to showcase the sounds of the instrument but I am very excited to run it through guitar pedals and wild plugins! All the sounds are from the one instrument.
