Steve Aguirre began his career in 2008, since then he has managed to share the stage with international artists such as Erick Morillo, Roger Sánchez, The Martinez Brothers, Chus & Ceballos, Rafa Barrios, David Tort, Harry Romero, Hot since 82, Nic Fanciulli among others.

His music has been played around the world by elite names like Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, John Summir, DJ Chus, Malone, Kryder, Cosmic Gate, EDX, Agent Greg, David Tort, Dannic, to name a few.

In 2013 he founded his own label "BH RECORDS", taking over all the cities of Colombia with his events and releases, managing to be heard and supported by artists such as Marco Carola, wAff, George Privatti, Mednas, Dj Fronter, Harvy Valencia, Javi Reina and many more.

In 2017 he established himself as a resident DJ of the most important summer festival in Colombia "Buena Vida Beach", thus sharing the stage with the best artists on the scene worldwide.

MichaelBM has emerged as one of the most prominent names in the Latin House scene, captivating both critics and fans with his versatile production style that spans from Latin Tech to Afro House. With releases on some of the most prestigious record labels in the electronic music industry, including Sola Recordings (Armada), CR2 Records, Helix Records (Payday Records), and Tech It Deep Records, among others, MichaelBM has made an indelible mark on the global music landscape.

2024 has been a pivotal year for MichaelBM, with hits like “Taka Taka” and “Travesuras” propelling him to stardom. These vibrant and energetic tracks have been supported by industry giants like Gordo, Solardo, Cloonee, Carlita, and Paco Osuna, solidifying his position as one of the most influential Latin House DJs today. His latest single, "Bonito," a collaboration with Twenty Six and Tech It Deep, is dominating the charts this summer, becoming one of the hottest tracks of the season.

Beyond his success in the studio, MichaelBM has taken his sound to the world’s top stages with the highly successful "Taka Taka World Tour." With over 20 performances across the globe and more than 10 sold-out shows in cities like Buenos Aires, Montañita, Lima, and Gran Canaria, MichaelBM has proven that his music transcends borders. He has performed at some of the most iconic clubs and festivals, including Lost Beach Club in Ecuador (DJMag #25), Duplex in Prague (DJMag #53), Baloo in Ibiza, and the legendary EDC in Mexico.
