Who is J. Howard? J. Howard is a Ohio born Artist/Musician who picked up his first set of drums sticks at the age of 3 and hasn’t put them down since. At the age of 14, J. Howard moved to south Florida and came in contact with some very influential individuals in the music industry who helped him jump start his career by directing him down the right path in the underground scene. He began playing as part of the house band for events like the Vagabond and SpeakFriday’s which involved many different styles and genres of music. This helped mold Howard into the versatile and talented musician he is today. J. Howard has one goal in mind when creating and performing his music, and that’s to make it feel good to the people. Some musical influences, like James Brown, Prince, Outkast, Andre 3000, and even his own father, Eddie Howard, also played major roles in the growth of J’s artistry. In January of 2018, J. Howard was signed to ILL RECORDS alongside fellow artist ill-logicz. Howard has even started his own fashion line with the intent to inspire people to express who they are and love themselves in the process. He continues to spread his light through his music to the people all over the world and hopes to one day reach the hearts of all of those who need a voice.
