This mixtape was recorded in March 2020, exactly one year after the death of Keith Flint, the frontman of The Prodigy. In a time when the world seemed to be in turmoil with uncertainties and fears, their music became a beacon of energy and rebellion, a call to not give up.

The idea for this tribute came during a long listening session in my studio, surrounded by speakers and synthesizers. Reflecting on how much their music had shaped my life, from my adolescence to becoming a DJ and producer, I realized that The Prodigy were not just a band; they were a movement, a wave of adrenaline that transports you into a world of raves and freedom.

My intention was clear: to capture the essence of that period and translate it into a mix that reflected not only their music but also the feelings of resilience and hope we were experiencing. I selected some of their most iconic tracks, songs that represent their evolution, from the electronic punk of "Firestarter" to the cathartic power of "Breathe." Each piece was a testament to their ability to unite, to resonate with souls, and to push them beyond boundaries.

Working on the mix was not easy. I spent sleepless nights fine-tuning the sound, trying to find that magic that only great artists can create. The final track became not just a tribute, but an emotional journey: joy, anger, and freedom fused into a crescendo of energy.

When I finally listened to the complete mixtape, it felt like going back in time. Each note evoked memories of nights spent dancing, friends gathered around a bonfire, and a community that stood strong. The mix transformed into an explosive finale, capable of making the walls of a club vibrate.

After more than four and a half years, I decided to release it on my personal SoundCloud. Sharing this creation with the world was an act of gratitude for what The Prodigy had given us fans. I imagined every listener, every lover of electronic music, immersing themselves in this tribute and reigniting the flame that unites us.

The music of The Prodigy is not just a memory; it is an energy that continues to burn, inspire, and transform. With this mixtape, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you to The Prodigy for igniting the spark in each of us. And in doing so, I discovered that music has the power to unite even in the darkest times.
