Embarking on a Castlevania-inspired album proved more challenging than anticipated. This endeavor has only deepened my admiration for Michiru Yamane's remarkable work.

After the unbelievable update that was the Underport, I felt I just had to go back into the world to try another project. This is the second volume in a most likely three-volume series.

Thematically, I wanted to take some guesses at upcoming areas. Obviously, I made a track for the Sootworks. But I don’t think we’ll be seeing the Sootworks for a little while now. So, I wanted to make some tracks for areas that we would actually get to see the official versions of. I think it would be cool to see what they sound like compared to my random ideas.

I also took a deeper look into places and themes we might not see in the game. The main one being the Merchant's Guild. A guild mentioned only once as far as I know, in the barbershop. I thought it was really interesting to think about what it could be and imagine if we'd ever get to see or understand this guild.

Regardless, enough yapping. I just want to thank Dillon and David for making an unbelievable game that has really inspired me. Also, a thanks to Taylor Shechet, the original composer. And last but definitely not least, Blasko for his amazing artwork.
