Grand Oyster Palace is the new musical project of Sydney based musicians: Dan Palace (vocal, strings), Robert Macaulay (strings) and Ryan Andriske (skins). Originally a solo project, the band quickly grew from Dan’s bedroom-studio to an extremely confident and well-oiled live act. All members previously served apprenticeships in acts such as The Jones Rival, Raindrop and Marlin Zando (The Vines side-project).

Their music is a collage of various genres which can only be described as “experimental pop”. Sophisticated compositions with lyrics and that range from extremely witty to very direct.
