Maaaaybe maybe 1 mix per week was ambitious to start off BUT I'm still here plugging away. Lesson from this mix: you can't always force a song into a mix, the same way you can't force things in life. Pivot, and move on.

Unpredictable Magic

While I don't generally pick songs based on my mood (point blank), I generally have a mood when I'm picking songs. Maybe thus the songs are picked based on mood? Philosophy? I dunno. Regardless, this set was built on the back of the overlapping layers of Queer Joy and Grief, both which have been highlights in my life recently. The mood leans more on joy, the grief is displayed by the desire to process our grief through the joy of dance. dance dance dance.
