Playing for Remain In Night at Musique Electronique is a uniquely special experience.  It's hands down the best weekend of the year here in Madison, Wisconsin.  I'm so lucky that RiN includes JiggyJamz in the festivities and I'm honored to be one of the performers on occasion.   BIG GRATITUDE to the RiN crew!  Y'all are ALL IN! 

This mix is not perfect, as most of my mixes are not perfect... Yet, you can feel the vibe and the love that we all experienced this weekend.  It has that live sound where you can almost feel the extra boom of that VOID rig by Submersive Sound come through the needles of my Technics turntables.  This mix is also a reflection of the legends who helped mold my DJ style... most notably, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, and Miles Maeda.  Much Respect due to them!  And soo much love going out to all of you dancers (especially my close fam) who made sure to be there early on that stormy night after the festival got shut down. 

It was truly amazing to see so many wonderful friends come together at the festival and stopped by the Jiggy Pop-Up Shop.  Thank you for your continued support of JiggyJamz Record Shop!  It means the world to me! ENJOY!

My opening set from ASSORTED FLAVORS!  All vinyl with a dedication to my Dad, Phillip John Kaster with a couple of his favorite Beatles songs at the beginning.  LOVE YOU, DAD!  Then I slip into Hip-Hop that he likely would not have liked... LOL!  but that about sums life up doesn't it ;)  We called this event Assorted Flavors because we wanted to do something a bit different and bring the art of DJing to the stage where we could all hear the many different styles and techniques that can be hit on by DJs.  MUCH LOVE to "The Bucket Hat Don", "The Most-High", THE DJ VPS, who asked Max and I to team up with him on this show highlighting one of the Midwest's premier turntablists, DJ ABILITIES!  Proper vibes up in there.   Peace!

Lola's HI/LO lounge on Madison's Northside - SHE'S A VIBE!  When I play there on occasion, I get to spread my wings a bit and spin some of my favorite JAMZ.  I usually start out the vibez with funk -n- disco into 80's and trip-hop/hip-hop... then find my way into some chill yet funky house grooves... We're lucky to have such a sweet spot in Madison, Wisconsin to play our music.  Luckily, I convinced THE MAN to let me break the speed limit a little with some deep house music vibes!  Don't worry, I keep it supremely inthe deep love zone...  AND, I was able to play test for the first time a couple of songs by Jason Velo coming from our recent vinyl release GEAR ONE on my new record label Noonish Records.
