The "matchball" he refers to below is to get a mix onto my new Nietzsche Lessons series, Avenue Red and Avenue Red 1210 - the only man in the known universe to do so, so far. Paul Rimbaud wrote: "God is dead" spoke Nietzsche but somewhat negated the power of the declaration when he went and died himself, thus allowing God to declare "Nietzsche is dead". At least he would have if Nietzsche hadn't already done him dirty. Anyways turns out that the only positive maxim we can lay our faith in these days regards the late 20th century assertion that "hardcore will never die". Accordingly I've engaged in a Hegelian dialectic on the hardcore continuum in an effort to reach some degree of polyrhythmic synthesis; old stuff, new stuff, all sharing a common denominator - the breakbeat. 

To be quite honest, being a miserable sod, I always related more to Schopenhauer personally but I think we can all at least agree that there has never been a party that hasn't been livened up by debating long-dead German existentialists. In a direct affront to nihilism I am proud to collect the Pritchard match ball with this mix so may I implore all the listeners to let inspiration be your ecstasy and ecstasy, your inspiration.

ADAB is known as a black non binary trans individual who explores sound as a whole. The Pittsburgh based, Chicago born and molded, T4T LUV NRG artist has become known for melding boundaries, often sifting between crates of house, techno, bass music, jungle, broken beat and everything esoteric that exists in between. They've brought this balanced approach to their sets at esteemed parties/festivals like No Way Back, Draaimolen Festival, and Freerotation with no intent to stop anytime soon. Via their involvement with T4T LUV NRG you can often catch them flanked by dear friends behind the decks, conjuring with labelmates Kiernan Laveaux, Russell E.L. Butler (as b2b duo Boyz II Them), Bored Lord, Eris drew and Octo Octa. Equipped with this wide ranging approach and the bonds of chosen family they push against preconceived notions of the craft, continually self overcoming to bring us something with tangible intent...

"I came into doing this pride mix with the intent of displaying my own personal joy as a non binary trans person. Every song picked is one that has lifted my spirit in some shape or form and I wanted to give that to my own this pride season. Pride for someone like me is often highlighted by isolation and a lack of desirability, so this mix is a gathering of gems that have battled against those feelings. It's also a collection of tracks that I've been listening to this Pride season in particular. A time that has been elevated by newfound love and a growing sense of finally finding somewhere to belong...enjoy!"

"This mix is a live recording from a recent visit to Podlasie in Chicago. When I gig, I think less about how I’m supposed to sound and focus on recalling, reconnecting with, and sharing music I love. As such there’s a ton of old favorites in the mix that span eras, genres, and moods. It is a capture of old favorites meeting new favorites. This ambassadorial practice of compiling new and old is a symbolic act of finding a sense of familiarity within unfamiliarity. It creates a level of genuineness that is vital for world building and sonic transportation while being resistant to consumption, possession, and escape. It highlights how one can encounter a new world without leaving this planet. Worlds are made of context and exchange; planets are made of matter, gas, and gravity."

ExHouse aka Experimental Housewife is a Bay Area-based DJ and live performer of 25 years. Over the last 10 years, she has become an icon of deep commitment to electronic sound and the art of storytelling. Deemed a "pillar of the underground" by RA, ExHouse started out as a teen raver, obsessed with the sound and attitude of the electronica of the 90s, before being drawn to ambient and post-rock in the early 00s, from which she takes much technical and aesthetic influence. Today she brings diverse cataloging and fluid turntable savvy to the dance floor, causing holes to appear in people's shoes while making "it look so easy". With an ear for contemplative bangers, deep grooves, and heavy drone, ExHouse has released original dance and ambient works on Jacktone, Schmer, True Indigo, Identity Spectrum Records and more. She owns and operates Perfect Location Records, a highly curated cross-medial label geared toward the greater distribution of honest and independent electronic music. She has toured North America and Europe and participates in a number of underground-forward outlets.
