Rummaging through the archives, looking for a specific track - couldn't find it yet - I know I have it. But I came across this ditty and decided to do some mixing work on it.

It's from 1997 I think, original 4 track recording, I was having a blast playing the slide guitar and just felt this vibe coming, decided to record it.

I do not regret it for one bit :)

read in dramatic mien and spoken from their heart  
unseal the parchment let the words escape their cage
left with a book with seven hundred empty page

Building from "Next Choice", Seagull's existential examination of choices mankind faces that will determine our destiny, he moves to the x-factor of Artificial Intelligence, how it is impacting us now, and how it may impact our future as a race depending on who holds the reigns of its development and application.  It is at once both scary and promising, but we must choose "who programs the programmer". Firstly on easy listening 6/4 bars, I cut some notes out of the main theme so as to give it dynamism, and finally obtained a prime amalgam of 17 quarter notes. I hid any recognizable thing in the accompaniment, and for the organic lines (voice and guitars) I tried the strong rhythm would not fix too much the melodies, first paying a lot of attention, and finally ... just letting me go.

Translated lyrics:
