My attempt at mixing Deep House. Created using Toontracks EZKeys, EZDrums, EZBass, EZMix, and Reaper DAW. I used Neon Rust "Chains" as the starting point. I stripped down the words and took hours in Reaper getting the sound mastered - Still a work in progress.

Back from a summer hiatus our first installment of the House DuJour series for FALL 2020. This mix features the House of Shelter. Timmy Regisford and his stable of abled producers. They work directly or indirectly with the Shelter, so I featured their productions here. A cornucopia of sounds from Mark Francis, Conway, Adam Rios, Mark Lewis, Dave D*Soul Rivera. Since everyday seems to be different and we are living in times that prove to be challenging. Let's slow down or speed up to the rhythmic sounds of House music. Bang The Drum Party was established in 2009 by DJ/Producer Jihad Muhammad in Newark, NJ. Bang The Drum (BTD) has hosted some of the best DJ's and Artists in the Underground Dance Scene. The purpose of the party is to promote the Global Soul Movement. Jihad defines Global soul as " Soulful music...House, Funk, Disco, Afrobeat... any music that touches the soul of all people....of all races. That to me makes it Global ".
