Jillobird contributes to the scene at large, championing awareness for Mental Illness and works with worldwide DJs to collectively break down the stigmas associated with. Being filled (and fuelled) with inspiration and enthused about the possibilities of computer-based music production, Markus started his project in the middle of the 2000s. 
He developed a knack for making use of a wide spectrum of stylistic devices, embracing not only house and techno but also chill-out up to breakbeat. Hence his sound defies being narrowly pigeonholed.
