Raised in Los Angeles,  California LWKGD discovered his passion for music at the tender age of 13. Drawing inspiration from the diverse cultural influences surrounding him, he began his musical journey by experimenting with various instruments and exploring different genres. Whether it was the rhythmic beats of traditional folk music or the soulful melodies of jazz, LWKGD immersed himself in the rich tapestry of sound that would later shape his unique artistic touch.

What truly sets LWKGD apart is his fearless approach to genre fusion. Rather than adhering to one particular style, he fearlessly blends elements from various musical traditions, creating a refreshing and innovative sound that captivates audiences worldwide. This ability to seamlessly weave together disparate musical elements reflects LWKGD's open-mindedness and dedication to pushing the boundaries of his art. Credited as one of the first people to pioneer and make the wave genre.
